Hungary

Hungary is a country in Central Europe and borders Slovakia, Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Austria and Ukraine. Its capital and largest city and metropolis is Budapest, known as one of the most beautiful in the world. The country has many varieties to offer: mountains, the Great Plain, lakes and rivers, and many small villages and cities, many of which are Unesco World Heritage Sites.

Here you can find the largest lake of Europe, Balaton, the largest natural grassland in Europe, Hortobágy, and the second largest thermal lake in the world, Héviz. Hungary is also the place to be for the largest synagogue of Europe, the largest medicinal bath of Europe, and the second largest territorial abbey in the world.
