DMC Finland

DMC Finland, the Finland’s leading DMC conference planner (organizer) and events specialist for incentive travel and conventions. A preferred destination management company and supplier used by international conference organisers worldwide.

Helsinki: Located on a peninsula, the archipelago of Helsinki consists in 330 islands which are convenient for a weekend by the beach to relax. Helsinki’s central avenue, Mannerheimintie will allow you to retrace Finland’s history through its National Museum and institutions. There, you will also find the Parliament House and contemporary museums. Since the city is very compact, it is very easy to visit it by foot. Also, there is always something going on in the city! Finally, its numerous green spaces are great for outdoor activities and relaxation.

Lapland: Being the northernmost located region of Finland, bordering Sweden, Norway, Russia and the Baltic Sea, it is a great location to ski and see the famous Northern Lights, as well as the midnight sun. It is known as being the closest city which can make you think of a winter wonderland. During the Summer, the sun is present during the whole three months, which will allow you to take part to many activities during the night such as hiking or cultural events. During Autumn, landscapes turn into bright colors – red, yellow or orange – and the ski season can start! Starting in October and ending in May as the snow melts, it will allow you to enjoy skiing during a big part of the year. But that is not all you can do in Lapland! Have a ride with huskies, and discover the Sami, the local population. Finally, see the Aurora Borealis, which appear more than 200 nights a year in Lapland. Explore Rovaniemi, Lapland’s medieval capital, which has been almost totally destroyed during World War II, and is known for being Santa Claus’ home.

Turku: Located on the southwest coast of Finland and dating back from the 13thCentury, Turku is known for its medieval castle and history museum. In the heart of the city, find the river, which comes to live during the summer, with people gathering, celebrating, singing, dancing and eating. Also, take some cruises on the river or attend events during the Summer.
