Sicily

Sicily is the largest island in the Mediterranean Sea and is one of the regions of Italy. Here you can find the Mount Etna, which is the tallest active volcano in Europe, and one the most active in the world.

Worth a visit are the Necropolis of Pantalica, the Valley of the Temples, Erice, Selinunte, Agrigento's Concordia temple, Mazara del Vallo, Catania,  Palermo, the Golfo di Castellammare, Gela, Marsala, Messina, Milazzo, Ragusa, Syracuse, Trapani, Madonie National Park, Mozia, Pantelleria, Segesta, and Taormina.
