Queenstown

Queenstown is a town in the South Island in New Zealand, located near the edge of the Lake Wakatipu and surrounded by the Southern Alps. Being the birthplace of bungee jumping, Queenstown often calls itself the Adventure Capital of the World.

Worth a stop are the Remarkables Mountain Range, Wanaka, Arrowtown, Oamaru, Cecil Peak, Walter Peak, Ben Lomond, Queenstown Hill, Bob’s Peak, the Skyline Gondola, Coronet Peak, Glenorchy, the Gibbston Valley, the Kawarau Gorge, the Kiwi Birdlife Park, and Skippers Road.
