Montenegro

Montenegro is a country in south eastern Europe, bordering Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Kosovo, and Albania. Its capital is Podgorica. It is a member of the UN, the NATO, the World Trade Organization, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, the Council of Europe and the Central European Free Trade Agreement, and it is a founding member of the Union for the Mediterranean.

Montenegro is known for its mountainous landscapes, its dramatic coastlines, its historic monuments, and its marvellous towns. Surely visit the Monastery of Ostrog, the Bay of Kotor, the St. Tryphon Cathedral, the Church of St. Luke, the Orthodox St Nicholas Church, Budva, the St. John's Church, the Santa Marija of Punta, the Church of St. Sava, the Citadela,  the Church of the Holy Trinity, the Sveti Stefan resort, Perast, the many palaces, Ulcinj, Bar, Lake Skadar, Herceg Novi, Virpazar, the Tara River Canyon, the Durmitor National Park, the Black Lake, and Žabljak.
