Marseille

The oldest and second largest city of France, which was the European Capital of Culture in 2013. It also has the largest Mediterranean cruise port of France. Le Panier is the oldest area of the town, where you will find the Vieille Charité, an old monument which now hosts museums and exhibitions. La Major is the only cathedral built in France during the 19^th century. In the Notre Dame de la Garde church, fishermen used to have their boats blessed. Marseille has several beaches, with each its own purpose.
