Lithuania

Lithuania is a Baltic country in northern Europe, bordering Latvia, Belarus, Poland and the Russian exclave Kaliningrad Oblast. Its capital and largest city is Vilnius, which is a Unesco World Heritage Site.

Worth a visit are the Curonian Spit beach, the archeologic site of Kernavė, Trakai Castle, Kaunas Castle, the Gediminas Tower, the Cathedral Square, the Royal Palace, the Presidential Palace, the seaside resort of Palanga, the Hill of Crosses, the Orvydas stone garden, Aukštaitija National Park, Labanoras Regional Park, and the Nemunas Delta.
