Kumarakom

Kumarakom is a cluster of small islands in the Kerala State in India. It is well known for its water tourism and the Vembanad Lake, which is the largest lake in Kerala. Kumarakom is the first Indian tourist destination that implemented Responsible Tourism practices. Worth a visit are the Aruvikkuzhi Waterfall, the Bay Island Drift Museum, Taj Garden Retreat, and the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary.
