Kovalam

Kovalam is a beach town in the Kerala State in southern India. It is one of the oldest tourist enclaves in India and is still today one of its most popular tourist destinations. Worth a visit are the Lighthouse Beach, the Samudra Beach, the Hawa Beach, the Karamana River, the Vellayani Lake, the Halcyon Castle, the Kovalam Art Gallery, the Valiyathura Pier, the Neyyar Dam, the Aruvikkara Dam, the Thiruvallam Parasurama Temple, and the Vizhinjam Rock Cut Cave Temple.
