Hawaii is the 50th and latest state of the United States of America. Lying in the Pacific Ocean, it is the only US state located outside of north America, the only US state located in Oceania, and the only US state entirely consisting of islands. Hawaii contains 19 volcanic islands, of which six are open to tourism: the Big Island, Oahu, Maui, Kauai, Molokai, and Lanai. Its capital and largest city is Honolulu. Hawaii is famous for its natural beauty and tropical climate.
