Christchurch is the largest city in South Island and the third largest in New Zealand, after Auckland and Wellington. It is often called the Garden City. worth a visit are the Christchurch Cathedral ruins, the Arts Centre, the Christchurch Art Gallery, the Air Force Museum, the Botanic Gardens, the Canterbury Museum, the Ferrymead Heritage Park, the International Antarctic Centre, the Orana Wildlife Park, the Willowbank Wildlife Reserve, the Yaldhurst Museum, and the Riccarton Bush.
