Chandigarh

Chandigarh is a city in northern India and the capital of the Haryana and Punjab States. As one of the early planned cities, it is well known for its architecture and design, most of which is built by the Swiss-French architect Le Corbusier. As you approach the city, you can see its marvellous skyline.

Worth a visit are the Capitol Complex, the Open hand monument, the Martyrs Memorial, the Geometric Hill, the Tower of Shadow, the Rock Garden, the Sukhna Lake, the Rose Garden, the High Court, the Secretariat, the Legislative Assembly, the Pinjore Gardens, the Museum and Art Gallery, the Chandigarh Museum, the Mohali Cricket stadium, and the Cactus Garden.
